Job description

Coordinating Technician, Network Control Centre and Master Control (T & I) (On-call)

Join us as a Coordinating Technician, Network Control Centre and Master Control (T & I) (On-call) at Radio-Canada.

This role involves coordinating and ensuring the continuity of acquisition, feed, and communication resources for CBC/Radio-Canada networks and external clients. You will operate master control equipment used for network broadcasts and radio presentation, distribute program signals, and ensure quality control. You will also book circuits and troubleshoot issues before and during broadcasts.

Requirements
  • College diploma in TV production, post-production techniques, or relevant field
  • Minimum three years of related experience
  • Judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of satellite, terrestrial, and IP transmissions
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
  • Computer literacy
  • Availability for rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Candidates must provide a copy of their diploma and transcripts. Selected candidates will undergo an interview and skills testing.
