Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years of experience; combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to adopt a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and curiosity-driven mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills; ability to perform mildly complex calculations (percentages, fractions, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist in sustainability consulting for various facilities to meet sustainability goals.
• Drive operational improvements by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve sustainability performance.
• Develop or execute strategies addressing energy use, resource conservation, recycling, pollution reduction, waste elimination, transportation, education, and building design.
• Manage chemical, hazardous, and non-hazardous waste.
• Provide reporting to government levels on waste, air emissions, and halocarbons.
• Support sustainability goals and implement strategies and programs.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines within the function.
