Job summary

EBC Inc. is offering a one-year co-op experience in Ontario for a site‑level Superintendent role. You’ll join a growing construction team, coordinating on projects across Toronto, Thunder Bay and the GTA, working with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to support planning and execution.

You’ll learn day-to-day operations, gain hands-on site exposure, and develop recommendations through on-site coordination and team collaboration, with mentorship from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in engineering or construction is an asset.
• Driver’s license and/or ability to travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction phases on the site, including work performed by internal teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and schedules, adjusting priorities as necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to address technical and operational issues.
• Verify the conformity of completed work and report any deviations from specifications or standards.
• Efficiently manage human, material, and financial resources on the site.
• Implement health and safety standards, ensuring practices meet legal requirements and company policies.
• Keep construction logs and daily reports up to date to document work progress.
• Participate in site meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress and resolve conflicts.
• Foster a team culture focused on excellence, collaboration, and professional ethics.
