Hard Rock Ottawa Hotel & Casino is looking for a Cook II for Youyu Noodle Bar in Ottawa, Ontario. This part-time permanent position focuses on food preparation, sanitation, and applying culinary techniques to support guest satisfaction.

You will operate and maintain kitchen equipment, help control costs, and work as part of a team that delivers the Hard Rock standard. English communication is required, and Safe Food Handling certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years cooking experience.
• Safe Food Handling certificate.
• Standalone restaurant experience.
• Ability to communicate in English (reading/writing).

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods including washing, peeling, and slicing.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment (fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, mixer, slicer, oven).
• Assist in lowering food cost and waste; label and date products for sanitation.
• Work as a team to meet guest expectations and uphold brand standards.
