Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Minimum of 2-year cooking experience.
• Safe Food Handling certificate.
• Standalone restaurant experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid food handlers license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods: washing, peeling, and slicing as needed.
• Clean work areas and store deliveries properly.
• Maintain knowledge of food products, sanitation standards, and policies; apply culinary techniques.
• Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment (deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, etc.).
• Assist in lowering food cost and waste; label and date products for safekeeping.
• Work as a team to meet guest expectations and support coworkers.
• Perform duties per company standards, policies, and guidelines; take on additional duties as requested.
