Job description

Description : Loga's Corner is a busy and growing Tibetan restaurant in the Parkdale neighborhood of Toronto. We are seeking a full time cook experienced in making Tibetan cuisine, specifically Momos (dumplings), Shabaley (beef patty), Tingmo, Bartsamarku, and Thukpa for a two-year term of employment. Job duties -

• Prepare and cook Tibetan Momos, Shabaley, Tingmo, Bartsamarku, and Thukpa
• Clean kitchen and work areas; Maintain high level of sanitation as prescribed by local health department
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Receive products from vendors; Examine product and invoices to ensure correct prices

Job requirements-

• Must present a positive and professional attitude
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service and high quality food products
• At least five years' experience working in Tibetan restaurant kitchen
• Ability to work eight hour shifts
• Ability to communicate in English (Ability to speak Tibetan, Hindi, and / or Nepalese is considered an asset)

Wage : $16.55 / hour
