Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake desserts and soups.
• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient kitchen and ensure staff follow safe food handling procedures.
• Date and rotate stock and properly contain food.
• Coordinate meal service with colleagues and share equipment, workspace and functions.
• Communicate with dishwashers and servers regarding cleanup.
• Engage with guests at tables to gauge satisfaction with food and service.
• Complete records for inventory, orders, budgets and costing measures.

What You Bring

• Completion of secondary school.
• Completion of college program in cooking. Several years of related, proven cooking experience may also be considered.
• Food Safe Certification.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, a team player, and excellent problem solving skills.
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• A negative TB test and up-to-date immunization record.
