Your Opportunity!

We’re looking for a Cook2. This role is focusing on food prep, quality, cleanliness, and teamwork, supports the kitchen's overall operations while growing in culinary expertise.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in prep, set-up, and production of food for daily features, special events, and presentations.
  • Prepare ingredients and dishes following established recipes and company standards.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of basic food preparation techniques and perform these tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Execute tasks error-free, maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation.
  • Follow company policies and procedures in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations.
  • Ensure all food meets the company’s quality standards and expectations.
  • Adhere to health department regulations and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, ensuring safe food handling and storage practices are followed.
  • Keep kitchen work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Follow all sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Assist in food preparation for special events, displays, and presentations.
  • Help set up and serve food for events, ensuring presentation meets company standards.
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Take direction from higher-level chefs (e.g., Cook 1, Executive Chef) and collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications Or Skills Required

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory
  • High School diploma is considered an asset
  • Current Safe Food Handler’s Certification Level 1
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced, professional environment focused on delivering a superior culinary experience
  • Must be able to operate related equipment
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an asset
