Job summary

Farm Boy Inc. is seeking team members to help bring our fresh food experience to life at our Ontario stores. You’ll deliver warm customer service, assist guests, and prepare meals for the hot and cold bars while maintaining high quality and presentation.

The role requires a post-secondary culinary program and up to a year of relevant experience, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. English fluency is essential, with French considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Completion of a post-secondary program with emphasis in culinary arts, plus up to one year of experience in a culinary or food-service environment.
• Ability to work independently with pride in quality, cleanliness, and details.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with deadlines, standing, lifting, and varied temperatures.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service reflecting Farm Boy's best fresh shopping experience.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards while sharing knowledge and enthusiasm for products.
• Prepare and cook fresh offerings for hot and cold bar, grill station, and service cases, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Package, stock, rotate, and merchandise display counters and shelves with accurate signage.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and storage through duties including housekeeping.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety HACCP compliance and proper equipment use.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures and provide support to fellow team members as needed.
• Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.

• Follow all corporate policies and procedures with particular focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment use.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures and provide support to fellow Team Members as needed.
• Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.

• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
