Farm Boy is seeking a Store Team Member to support fresh food counters in Aurora, Ontario. You’ll combine your passion for quality service with hands-on food preparation, creating a welcoming shopping experience for customers.

You'll help with hot/cold bar items, grilling, and service case keep, while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. English is required; French is a plus. Training and employee discounts are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary program in culinary arts with up to 1 year experience in culinary/food-service.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness.
• Team-oriented approach with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with deadlines, standing, lifting, and working in coolers/freezers/outdoors.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills are an asset.

• Prepare and cook fresh offerings for hot and cold bar, grill station, and service cases.

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas with general housekeeping.
• Follow all policies focusing on Health & Safety and HACCP compliance.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and support teammates as needed.
• Support the team with additional duties periodically.

• Prepare and cook fresh offerings for our hot and cold bar, grill station, and service cases, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Package, stock, rotate, and merchandise display counters and shelves, maintaining high product standards and accurate signage.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas through general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
• Follow all corporate policies and procedures with particular focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment use.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures and provide support to fellow Team Members as needed.
• Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.

• Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in culinary arts, plus up to one year of experience in a culinary or food-service environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

• A collaborative, team-oriented approach supported by strong communication and organizational skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, and work that may be performed in cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
