Job summary

Interior Health Authority is seeking a Cook to join our Support Services team at Penticton Regional Hospital in Penticton, BC. This casual role offers day and evening shifts and requires reliable, flexible, and motivated applicants.

You will prepare and cook meals, portion dishes for service, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. This is a casual opportunity with variable hours and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking and food preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion control.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen sanitation and safety practices.

About The Job

• Performs duties related to the preparation and cooking of food items.
• Portioning and serving food.
• Washing, and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and designated cooking/workstations.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Shifts of work will be days and evenings rotating from: 06:00 to 14:00 and 11:30 to 19:30 hours.
