Job summary

Farm Boy Inc. is seeking team members to help bring our fresh food experience to life by delivering outstanding customer service and preparing meals for our hot and cold bars, grill station, and service cases.

You will greet customers, share product knowledge, and maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and presentation in a dynamic store environment. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary program with culinary arts emphasis.
• Up to 1 year of culinary or food-service experience.
• Ability to work independently with pride in quality and cleanliness.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication and organization.
• English fluency; French language skills considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service reflecting Farm Boy’s standards.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards while sharing product knowledge.
• Prepare and cook fresh offerings for hot and cold bar, grill station, and service cases with quality and presentation.
• Package, stock, rotate, and merchandise counters and shelves with high product standards and accurate signage.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas, including housekeeping duties and proper equipment use.
• Follow corporate policies focusing on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance.

You’ll help bring the Farm Boy’s food experience to life by combining your passion for fresh food with exceptional customer service. From preparing delicious meals to connecting with customers at the counter, you’ll play a key role in creating the welcoming, high-quality experience our shoppers know and love. • Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service that reflects Farm Boy’s commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards while sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for our products.
• Prepare and cook fresh offerings for our hot and cold bar, grill station, and service cases, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Package, stock, rotate, and merchandise display counters and shelves, maintaining high product standards and accurate signage.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas through general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
• Follow all corporate policies and procedures with particular focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment use.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures and provide support to fellow Team Members as needed.
• Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.

• Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in culinary arts, plus up to one year of experience in a culinary or food-service environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• The ability to work independently while taking pride in exceptional quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness standards.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach supported by strong communication and organizational skills.
• Thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, and work that may be performed in cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
