Job summary

Kruger Products Inc. in Trenton, ON is seeking an Operations Leader for the Converting Mill to run the floor, ensure safety, quality, and uptime. This full-time, salaried role focuses on front-line leadership, coaching, and cost-conscious production management at the Trenton Converting Mill.

The leader will drive continuous improvement, track performance, and develop a crew capable of delivering on-spec products while handling change and high-volume demands. Competitive compensation applies.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 3–5 years with converting and/or packaging equipment in a technical leadership role, preferred.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team development capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with performance management and conflict resolution.
• Adaptability and the ability to lead change.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety: set the safety standard, run audits, close gaps and act on hazards.
• Drive Quality: hold product to specification, lead corrective action, manage audits.
• Own Production Results: deliver finished goods, track rates, feed issues to the team.
• Build the Team: coach, mentor, and manage performance, attendance, and conflicts.
• Improve the Operation: lead continuous improvement aligned to OPEX.
• Keep Assets Running: coordinate with maintenance on preventive tasks and RCFA actions.
• Work Across the Plant: participate in Line-Centric Team, support trials, keep docs current.
