Job summary

Liberty Energy is seeking a Controls Technician for operations in Clairmont, Alberta. The role involves maintaining and repairing electronic instrumentation and equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring service quality through timely repairs.

Responsibilities include startup of software and communications, visual inspections, LO/TO compliance, and site housekeeping. Candidates should have an electronics background and be able to work independently within a team while

  • Ensures proper start-up of all software and communications with all equipment.
  • Visually inspects all cables.
  • Communicates with frac supervisor prior to start-up.
  • Expected to be attending to all equipment by walking around visually inspecting operation.
  • Communicates any deficiencies to frac supervisor.
  • Performs repairs to equipment.
  • Ensures proper LOTO procedures are followed.
  • Walks site to ensure that all equipment is properly shut-down and turned off.
  • Assists in housekeeping before leaving location.
