Job summary

Eclipse Automation is seeking a Software Designer Team Lead to guide controls software design and project execution in Cambridge, Ontario. This full-time role requires coordinating policy implementation, liaising with departments, and ensuring on-time delivery while upholding Eclipse standards.

You will lead a team, review design deliverables, foster continuous improvement, and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in Electrical, Systems, Mechatronics, or Robotics Automation Technology.
• Proficient with MS Office and electrical/automation concepts.
• 7+ years in the custom automation industry with strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate controls software design activities and project execution.
• Maintain project milestones, review deliverables, and ensure ISO standards compliance.
• Mentor staff, prioritize tasks, and liaise with departments and customers.
• Drive software development, integration, and on-time delivery for projects.
• Advance policies and continuous improvement within the department.
