Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking a skilled Controller for a 6- to 8-month contract in the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves supervising a two-person accounting team (A/P and A/R), ensuring accurate reconciliations, and overseeing monthly financial statements and tax tasks.

ERP and T1/T2 experience are preferred. The candidate should have a CPA designation, a relevant degree, and 5–10 years in senior accounting, with 3–5 years in management.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field an asset.
• Minimum 5-10 years' experience in a senior-level accounting/finance position.
• Minimum 3-5 years' management experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with T1/T2 and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
