Responsibilities :

• Oversee the company’s financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Implement and maintain financial controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring accurate and efficient financial reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits and reviews.
• Prepare financial analyses, forecasts, and projections to support decision-making by senior management.
• Monitor cash flow and manage company finances, ensuring timely payments and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Skills and Experience :

• Accounting Expertise : Extensive experience in managing accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• CPA Designation : Completion of the CPA designation is a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Experience : Minimum of 5+ years in a senior accounting or financial management role, ideally within property management or real estate.
• Communication : Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, senior management, and external auditors.
• Education : Post-secondary degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
