Job summary

TransDiff is seeking a Finance leader to partner with operations and uphold the financial integrity across its Quebec network. You will oversee monthly closing, ensure accurate results, and implement internal controls, while driving process improvements and technology adoption to boost efficiency.

You will supervise transactional activities, manage AR/AP, and provide insightful metrics to branch managers, supporting informed decisions and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

Qualifications

  • CPA designation is a plus.
  • Experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Experience supervising a team.
  • Ability to work in a multi-site environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A results-oriented, hands-on approach.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers.
  • Proficiency with computer tools and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will serve as a business partner to operations while ensuring the organization’s financial integrity. You will be responsible for the quality of financial information, overseeing transactional teams, and developing internal controls across the entire network.


You will actively participate in process improvements and the implementation of technological tools aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency.


Financial Reporting and Monthly Closing

  • Oversee the monthly financial closing process.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial results.
  • Oversee account analysis and required reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Supervision of Transactional Activities

  • Oversee accounts receivable processes.
  • Supervise accounts payable activities.
  • Monitor transactions related to parts sales and labor.
  • Implement and maintain effective controls throughout all financial cycles.

Operations Support

  • Provide management information and performance metrics to branch managers.
  • Assist managers in understanding and analyzing their results.
  • Serve as a resource for financial and operational questions.

Leadership and Continuous Improvement

  • Coordinate and develop a team
