Base pay range

CA$100,000.00/yr - CA$135,000.00/yr

Position Status: Full-time, permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, flex hours

Compensation: up to CA$135,000/year, based on experience + group insurance + subsidized parking + half-day Fridays, and more.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare annual budgets and cash flow projections to support strategic planning.
• Compile and present monthly consolidated financial statements to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, payroll, source deductions, and sales tax filings. Provide HR support as needed.
• Oversee year-end audit preparations and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Handle foreign exchange contracts and assess currency risk exposure.
• Supervise import operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and optimizing logistics. Review import/export entries and manage duty drawback claims.
• Design and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and deliver insights that drive business performance.
• Monitor and support EDI transactions related to invoicing; assist accounts receivable with issue resolution.
• Manage and review intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Maintain investment portfolio records, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.

Skills & Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in financial management or accounting.
• CPA designation is an asset.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to work with complex datasets and financial models.
• Bilingual – fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• In-depth knowledge of import/export regulations and customs compliance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software.
