ENERGY Transportation Group is currently seeking a Corporate Controller to join its LaSalle team.

What Will Your Role Be?

ENERGY is looking for an experienced corporate controller, to undertake all aspects of financial management. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Finance, the successful candidate will help steward the corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The Corporate controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure financial data accuracy and maintain integrity of all ledgers.
• Optimize NetSuite ERP to streamline reporting and accelerate close cycles.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT and Operations to enhance financial systems and process flows.
• Oversee AP, AR, and billing leads, while fostering development and performance across the finance team.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis with department heads.
• Deliver financial insights that guide cost control, resource allocation, and strategic decisions.
• Uphold robust internal controls and ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow and working capital; support annual external audits.
• Additional controller duties, as necessary

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a controllership role.
• Industry background in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in ERP implementations and optimization—NetSuite experience is a strong asset.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is required (as we work with clients across Canada and the U.S., proficiency in both languages is not just important but a key advantage for us).
