DESCRIPTION DE POSTE
Ce rôle couvre l'ensemble des activités liées à l'administration de Control‑M et fournit un soutien technique aux membres de l'équipe. Le poste consiste à gérer les incidents escaladés, effectuer des analyses des causes profondes (root cause analysis) et répondre à la fois aux besoins réactifs provenant des rapports d'incidents (IR) et aux besoins proactifs liés aux exigences métier.
Responsabilités principales
- Configurer, implémenter et supporter des chaînes de traitements (batch streams) Control‑M complexes
- Moderniser l'infrastructure Control‑M via des intégrations et l'Automation API
- Comprendre les besoins métier et concevoir des solutions adaptées
- Tester les modifications apportées à l'environnement Control‑M
- Garantir le respect des standards de qualité lors des mises en production
- Gérer les incidents et les escalader à la Direction ou à des tiers si nécessaire
- Effectuer des analyses des causes profondes pour les incidents P1 à P4 et/ou de manière proactive selon les besoins métier
- Collaborer avec les équipes internes ou des tiers pour la mise en œuvre des changements
- Respecter les politiques et procédures applicables à la gestion des incidents, problèmes et changements
- Veiller au respect des niveaux de service (SLA) et de la qualité attendue
Formation
- Baccalauréat ou diplôme de cycles supérieurs en informatique, technologies de l'information, ou expérience équivalente.
Expérience minimale
- 5 ans d'expérience pertinente.
Compétences techniques
- Bonne connaissance de l'architecture Control‑M
- Expérience pratique des versions Control‑M v9.20 et v9.21 : installation, configuration et procédures de reprise après sinistre (DRP)
- Expérience sur plusieurs versions de Control‑M
- Participation à des projets de migration Control‑M
- Connaissances de base des systèmes Linux
- Installation et configuration de Control‑M Agent / Advanced File Transfer (AFT) / Managed File Transfer (MFT)
- Windows Server 2016/2019/2022

Job Summary
This role supports all aspects of Control‑M administration and provides technical guidance to team members. The position is responsible for handling escalated incidents, performing root cause analysis, and addressing both reactive issues from Incident Reports (IRs) and proactive business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and support complex Control‑M batch streams
- Modernize Control‑M infrastructure with integrations and Automation API
- Understand business requirements and design solutions accordingly
- Test changes to the Control‑M environment
- Ensure quality standards in releases
- Manage incidents and raise to Management or 3rd parties as necessary
- Perform root cause analysis for P1–P4 incidents and proactive based on business needs
- Collaborate with internal teams or 3rd parties to implement changes
- Follow required policies and procedures for incident, problem, and change management
- Ensure service performance expectations meet service levels and quality standards
Education
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Control‑M architecture
- Hands‑on experience with Control‑M v9.20 and v9.21 installation, configuration, and disaster recovery
- Experience across multiple Control‑M releases
- Experience with Control‑M migrations
- Familiarity with Linux OS fundamentals
- Thorough understanding of the following Control‑M topics: Control‑M Agent / Advanced File Transfer (AFT) / Managed File Transfer (MFT) installation & configuration, Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, UNIX/Linux (current releases), Control‑M Automation API, Control‑M Agent parameters, Control‑M Configuration Manager, Calendar creation and updates, Folder creation and updates, Job creation and updates, Job ordering, Job conditions, Quantitative resources, AFT profile components, AFT jobs, Control‑M security, Job Loader, User Daily concept, Forecast Server, Import/export of folders between environments, Find and update commands on folders, Experience working with BMC Support on Level 4 issues.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Knowledge of ITIL and IPC (Incident, Problem & Change) processes
- Knowledge of other file transfer tools (preferred): CFT, Connect:Direct, MQ Series, Secure Transport
