Olsson is seeking a Contracts and Risk Management Coordinator to support our contracting and risk management service area across diverse projects. You will review, negotiate, and execute non-standard contracts, ensure timely completion, and mitigate risk through collaboration with leadership and technical staff.

You will analyze contract data in Smartsheet and help align language with firm standards while maintaining high quality documentation.

Competenze

• Associate degree in business, communications, or related area preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a related position.
• Skilled in technical writing, editing abilities, and a strong attention to detail.
• Able to develop and foster effective professional relationships internally and externally.
• Has solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibits good interpersonal, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and Smartsheet

• Plans and executes the review, negotiation, and execution of non-standard contracts for the firm in accordance with leadership and contract signing authority.
• Establishes, communicates, and meets deadlines for timely completion of contract reviews.
• Maintains a high level of quality and/or accuracy in all contracts and risk management information, analysis, and documentation.
• Works closely with technical staff to negotiate and facilitate negotiation with clients to mitigate high risk language in contracts with limited direction.
• Gathers, maintains, and analyzes contract review information in Smartsheet database.
• Assists in limiting the firm’s risk by aligning contract language to firm standards and ensuring compliance with the contract signing authority and other internal policies.
• Assists in developing background research on target projects and potential clients.
• Coordinates the strategy for the contract review process.
• Participates in project specific contracts and risk management strategy meetings.
