Job Title: CI/CD Automation Specialist

Location: Calgary, Canada

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands‑on CI/CD Automation Specialist to join our team and support enterprise infrastructure and remediation programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong DevOps, Linux, and automation experience, with a focus on building and maintaining CI/CD automation workflows. This role requires collaboration with various teams, including platform, security, and remediation, to ensure seamless deployment and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support CI/CD automation workflows to enhance deployment processes.
• Manage and support package deployment activities across RHEL 7 to RHEL 9 environments.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and remediation teams to ensure compliance and security best practices.
• Implement and maintain automation scripts using shell scripting and other automation tools.
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes for application deployment.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
• Document processes, workflows, and best practices for CI/CD automation.

Mandatory Skills

• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience in Linux administration, particularly with RHEL.
• Expertise in shell scripting and automation techniques.
• Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Knowledge of RPM packaging and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
