Established multi-site Childcare Operator seeks a Lead FDK/SA RECE - Contract for two vacant positions at our Tumpane Child Care Centre location.

Position: Contract - Part-Time - Split Shift

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education Diploma or Equivalency
• Registered and in Good Standing with The College of Early Childhood Education
• Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR - AED Level C
• Current and Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
• Complete Toronto Public Health Medical and Immunization requirements

Skills Required:

• Warm and Energetic individual who has the ability to work with Children of all ages, experience with ***** age group is an asset.
• Must possess strong initiative and organizational skills and have a positive attitude
• Dependable and Flexible - arrives on time and ready to commence work as scheduled
• Communicate effectively and professionally with Children, Staff and Parents, IC SG Management, and any other Governing Agencies
• Must have general knowledge of Childcare Operations and an ability to comply with all the requirements from CCEYA/AQI/TPH/ICSG [incl. TDSB Policies and Procedures for sites located in TDSB]
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
• Has the ability to implement an Early Childhood Program as per requirements set out by governing agencies
• Maintain Room control with positive Behaviour Management Strategies
• Ability to plan and implement a program

Assets:

• Working Knowledge of the Lillio Application (Parent Portal)
• Experience with laptop/tablet use to program and record Children's profiles

Hours of work:

• Centre Hours of Operation are 7:00am - 6:00pm
• Split Shift > During the School Year: 7:00am-9:00a.m. and 3:00pm-6:00p.m. [5 hours per day]
• During Summer, P.A. Days, March and Christmas Breaks [8 hours per day]
