Job summary

ICSG is hiring a Second Registered Early Childhood Educator for Pineway Childcare Learning Centre in Toronto on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate must hold an ECE diploma or equivalency, be in good standing with the CCE, and maintain current First Aid/CPR–AED Level C, a clear VSC, and immunization requirements.

Responsibilities include program planning and positive behaviour management. Ideal candidates will demonstrate initiative, reliability, and strong communication with children,

Qualifications

• ECE Diploma or Equivalency is required.
• Registered with The College of Early Childhood Education in good standing.
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR – AED Level C.
• Current and clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
• Complete Toronto Public Health medical and immunization requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive behaviour management and room control.
• Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program.
• Work with children of Preschool age and younger as needed.
• Communicate effectively with children, staff and parents, ICSG management and governing agencies.
