Job summary

Kelly Services (Canada), Ltd. is seeking an experienced Contract Payroll Analyst to join the payroll team in Canada.

You will process payroll for Canadian employees and expatriates, ensuring compliance and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The role reports to the Payroll Manager and involves collaboration with HR, Finance and IT to support reliable payroll operations and high service standards, including regulatory filings and year-end activities.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of payroll experience.
• Experience with multi-provincial & multi-cycle payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations.
• Experience with SAP Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis & reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll for Canadian employees, including expatriates.
• Support regulatory filings and year-end activities.
• Maintain payroll data confidentiality and accuracy.
• Update payroll policies to reflect legislation and company policies.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and IT to integrate payroll with other functions.
• Audit payroll data, investigate discrepancies, escalate issues as needed.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to authorities and internal partners.
• Respond to payroll questions with clear guidance.
• Support external auditors during payroll audits.
• Provide backup to other payroll team members.
• Stay up to date with Canadian payroll legislation changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll and time processes and share insights.
