Husky Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on a 9-month contract at our Bolton, ON facility just north of Toronto. You will design mechanical components, tooling and fixtures, model parts in Siemens NX, run FEA, and machine prototypes from CAD to finished hardware.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, select cutting tools and processes, troubleshoot shop-floor issues, and contribute to layout optimization for efficient production.

Qualifikationen

• University-level mechanical/industrial/manufacturing or mechatronics degree.
• Hands-on experience with manual machine tools.
• Strong CAD experience with Siemens NX and AutoCAD.
• Ability to translate CAD designs into machined components.

Aufgaben

• Design mechanical components, tooling, fixtures, prototypes and manufacturing solutions.
• 3D modeling of parts and assemblies using Siemens NX; perform FEA and GD&T.
• Machine and fabricate designed components from CAD models to finished hardware.
• Set up and operate manual machining equipment: turning, boring, drilling, milling, grinding.
• Select cutting tools, feeds/speeds, and workholding per material/part.
• Troubleshoot shop-floor issues and iterate designs accordingly.
• Maintain tooling and order new tooling for Lathe, Mill, Grinder, and Drill.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and suppliers to solve challenges.
• Design and optimize factory layout for efficiency and productivity.
• Participate in product design and process improvement activities.
