Job summary

You will mentor engineers, oversee DFMEA and risk mitigation, and ensure adherence to Husky standards while delivering high-quality engineering output for market-leading products. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering design teams (mentoring, career development)
• Strong DFMEA/risk mitigation experience and design validation
• Proficiency in CAE tools and hand calculations, with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Leadership of engineering design team through Product Development Process. Specifically, supervising and supporting team members regarding:
• Marketing support, product definition, specification, scoping and VOC
• Concept development, evaluation and recommendation
• Risk mitigation through past service issue research, risk identification and formal DFMEA
• System level design with high attention to detail and adherence to Husky standards
• Engineering analysis using hand calculation, spreadsheet and CAE formats
• Design exectution with high attention to detail in engineering quality
• Validation plan development
