Job summary

Compass Early Learning and Care in Millbrook, Ontario is seeking an Inclusion Support Educator for a contract role. The position involves planning and leading activities that support holistic child development, maintaining vigilant supervision, and documenting progress through observation and inquiry.

You will collaborate with families and staff to create supportive environments, assist with daily routines, and follow CELC and Ministry guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience working with children and youth.
• Familiarity with applicable child care acts and licensing standards.
• Valid Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check, Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and immunization records.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead interest-based and play-based activities reflecting children’s interests to promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Maintain active supervision with children while engaging in play.
• Document children’s learning progress through observation, reflection, and research questions.
• Create and maintain environments that protect health, safety, and well-being.
• Assist children with diapering, dressing, and eating habits.
• Foster strong relationships with families and involve them in learning.
