Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Contract Frontline Supervisor in the Oil and Gas Sector in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be involved in pre-mobilization activities and pre-bid documentation, including participation in bid package preparation and contractor bid reviews. You will also contribute to project execution planning, such as design reviews, model reviews, and Construction Work Package (CWP) development and all aspects of the construction execution project life cycle.
Total rewards:$100.00 hourlyone year contract positionSchedule: 4 days on 3 days off. 10 hour days.
Candidates must be local to the Lloydminster area.
Pre-Execution: Lead team reviews and facilitate joint acceptance of contractor project pre-documentation (e.g., JSA, ERP, execution plans, ITPs).
Execution: Communicate all existing and potential site hazards to contractors and ensure hazards are documented in Safe Work Agreements. Verify contractor compliance with project documentation and provide documented assessments, Identify and communicate variances, risks, and mitigation strategies. Identify high-risk work and scope changes requiring formal risk assessments, using the Risk Matrix. Monitor daily progress of construction. Complete daily field checks on ongoing construction activities including field level hazard assessment reviews & improvement opportunities.
Post-Execution: Participate in contractor close-out and lessons learned sessions. Participate in contractor completion activities, including walkdowns, deficiency resolution, and demobilization.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, principles, and procedures. Experience with mechanical project installations in a brown field environment.
Support and implement safety initiatives and Safety Management Systems, Conduct field hazard assessments and participate in project risk assessments, Wear required PPE and promote a strong safety culture. Mentor and support team members in safe work practices, Participate in quality activities, including ITP reviews, turnover package verification, audits, and walkdowns. Ensure adherence to specifications, lifesaving rules and commitments. Participate in and develop safety meetings as required.
