Vaco has partnered with a company seeking an Engineering and IT Recruiter to join their team!

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Engineering and IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. This role involves sourcing, attracting, and hiring top engineering and IT professionals across various technical disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical talent market, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to building candidate pipelines in a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with hiring managers to understand technical hiring needs and team goals
  2. Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to attract qualified engineering and IT talent (e.g., software developers, systems engineers, DevOps, network/security specialists, etc.)
  3. Create and post engaging job descriptions on various platforms and networks
  4. Screen and interview candidates for technical skills and cultural fit
  5. Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiations
  6. Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future needs through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach
  7. Utilize ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and other recruiting tools to keep accurate candidate records
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and in-demand skills in the tech sector
  9. Provide an excellent candidate experience through timely communication and professionalism
  10. Attend industry events, job fairs, and networking meetups to promote the company and connect with potential candidates
