Job summary

ENWIN Utilities Ltd. in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a Buyer on a temporary 12-month contract to support procurement by preparing, evaluating, and summarizing quotes for materials and services.

You will process requisitions, ensure timely deliveries, analyze accounts payable issues, and maintain records such as RMS, MSDS, vendor insurances and WSIB clearances. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma and 2–3 years in a similar role.
• Completed 3 supply chain management courses or able to complete as per policy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of purchasing and inventory procedures; MS Office/Excel; SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, evaluate and summarize quotations and tenders for materials and services.
• Process purchase requisitions and ensure timely delivery of needs.
• Review accounts payable discrepancies and vendor performance.
• Maintain RMS, MSDS sheets, vendor insurances and WSIB clearance records.
