We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Buyer. Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is seeking a Buyer to join their team on a short term contract basis (3 months). Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this position will play a key role in sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing, and managing supplier performance. Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Obtain the best overall terms for production-related components.
• Provide monthly cost-saving reports tracked by company KPIs.
• Manage and provide supplier performance report cards.

Mandatory Requirements:

• University Degree or College Diploma.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of an ERP system.

Hourly Range: $35/hr - $40/hr
