The role of Managed Account Trader involves monitoring and executing trades for the SMA program, updating models, and coordinating with the trading desk to optimize fee-based assets and revenues. The position requires at least 2 years of discretionary trading experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Dataphile or Croesus.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree required.
• CSC and CPH completion is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of discretionary-trading experience using a model-based approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new apps.
• Familiarity with Dataphile, Croesus, or similar service providers is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trade instructions from 3rd party managers and Raymond James portfolio managers.
• Update models and generate trades for market execution; coordinate with trading desk for large orders.
• Query daily asset movements on the SMA program and consolidate bulk trading lists.
• Calculate FX exposure and arrange rates on cross-currency trades.
• Identify and rebalance accounts with excess cash quarterly.
• Perform quality control checks on trades.
• Download and distribute weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist with fee-based accounts projects and other related duties.
