Job summary

GHD is seeking a Contract Administrator – Linear Infrastructure to join the Greater Toronto Area team. The role focuses on contract administration for municipal water and sewer projects, with supervision of a team of site inspectors and coordination with clients and subconsultants.

Based in GTA offices (Toronto, Mississauga, Markham or Whitby), the candidate will manage multiple active projects, review claims, ensure quality deliverables, and support health, safety and environmental standards

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education in Civil Engineering (Bachelor’s degree, or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma).
• Professional Engineer Designation, or Certified Engineering Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Contract Administration of civil municipal infrastructure projects.
• Supervise a team with multiple site inspectors.
• Manage multiple active projects in construction phase with daily communication among clients, contractors, project managers, designers, coordinators, inspectors and subconsultants.
• Review, analyze, negotiate, and resolve construction claims.
• Conduct Constructability Reviews to support design delivery.
• Ensure deliverables meet internal and external quality objectives.
• Provide guidance on external communications systems and usage.
• Provide operational support in construction management and supervise areas of projects.
