Job summary

Raise seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist III to drive cross‑functional CI initiatives in Saint-Laurent, QC, on a hybrid schedule. You will lead projects using Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, A3, 8D, BPM, and Kaizen events to deliver measurable gains and fast problem solving.

You will train teams, coach CI specialists, and collaborate with global functions, balancing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced tech environment. A bachelor’s in engineering and 7+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (technical or business) or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in lean, continuous improvement, operational excellence and/or related fields.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, BPM and transformation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops and Kaizen events.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and PMP are assets.

Continuous improvement specialist III

• Location: Saint-Laurent, Quebec - (Hybrid)
• Pay Rate: $61.33/hr
• Contract Length: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives

• Lead and deliver cross‑functional CI projects aligned with strategic priorities.
• Apply recognized methodologies and tools including Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, A3, 8D, BPM, Design Thinking, and Kaizen events to deliver measurable improvements.
• Plan, facilitate, and lead Kaizen events to accelerate problem solving, process optimization, and team engagement.

Training & Facilitation

• Develop, maintain, and facilitate CI training and workshops aligned with high‑tech industry best practices.
• Design and deliver Kaizen event training, including preparation, facilitation techniques, and post‑event sustainment.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, problem‑solving workshops, root cause analyses, and process mapping sessions to empower teams to improve their own processes.

Leadership, Coaching & Mentoring

• Coach and mentor CI specialists, ambassadors, and business teams.
• Support leaders in adopting CI principles, tools, and behaviors.
• Act as a trusted Senior Specialist on operational excellence and transformation topics.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Monitor CI project progress, benefits, and KPIs.
• Prepare structured project updates and executive‑level reporting.

Cross‑Functional & Global Collaboration

• Collaborate with multiple CAE sites and functions worldwide.
• Influence stakeholders to ensure alignment, engagement, and value delivery.

Agility & Prioritization

• Manage multiple priorities with flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering (technical or business) or equivalent experience in continuous improvement in a similar role.
• At least 7+ years of professional experience in lean, continuous improvement, operational excellence and/or combined with management, industrial engineering and/or project management.
• Relevant experience in workshop facilitation Experience in "Six Sigma", "Lean", Problem Solving Methodology, business process management (BPM) projects and Transformation.
• Pragmatic approach in its efforts to achieve excellence, flexibility, adaptability, in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work at different organizational levels and support management teams.
• Results oriented.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision. Autonomy in execution and decision‑making.
• Excellent skills in coaching and strong power of persuasion.
• Mastery of interpersonal skills: Open and transparent communication, influence, active listening, and collaboration
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
• Asset: Six Sigma Certification Green/Black Belt, PMP.
