Job summary

Manpower Canada is seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager for a 24/7 automotive manufacturing facility in Collingwood, ON. You will lead plant-wide CI initiatives, drive problem-solving culture, and improve performance across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in operations or manufacturing.
• Strong background in Lean, CI tools, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Hands-on experience with MES, MRP, ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-wide continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
• Oversee accurate and timely reporting of key manufacturing data.
• Manage plant data systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Lead cross-functional teams in structured problem solving and Lean projects.
• Implement and sustain 5S, Kaizen, TPM, Standard Work, and other Lean tools.
• Ensure SOP integration and process discipline for all improvement activities.
• Optimize MES and SAP use to support efficient and accurate operations.
• Mentor staff at all levels in CI tools and techniques.
• Support performance monitoring, cost reduction, and KPI tracking.
