Job summary

Actalent in Port Coquitlam, BC, seeks a hands-on engineer to develop system- and component-level V&V plans and maintain requirements traceability from specification to verification evidence.

Candidates should have an engineering degree or robotics diploma, strong CAD experience (SolidWorks/Creo), basic electrical understanding, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly, diligently, and independently; friendly, communicative, and honest with coworkers.

Full-time

Develop system- and component-level V&V plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria aligned with product requirements. Maintain requirements traceability from specification through verification evidence.

• Engineering Degree, Robotics Diploma, or similar
• Natural mechanical aptitude
• SolidWorks / Creo / other 3-D CAD modeling experience
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and controls
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work quickly, diligently, and independently
• Friendly disposition
• Ability to communicate with coworkers honestly and confidently

Nice to have:

• Ability to design electrical schematics
• Advanced controls experience
• Basic knowledge of BEV systems and components
• Ability to design hydraulic/cooling schematics
• Experience with mining equipment or heavy-duty vehicles
• Advanced 3-D CAD knowledge i.e. Routing, PLM
• Preference to candidates with hands on mechanical experience

Salary/Rate Range:

$90,000-115,000 base salary plus benefits.
