Job summary

North Island College (Campbell River) seeks a Continuing Education Program Officer and Community Liaison to plan and implement funded and tuition-based programs in collaboration with diverse educational stakeholders. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Community Development or Education, or equivalent level of education and experience.
• 3 years’ experience in the delivery of adult education and/or community development programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate Continuing Education programs and courses to meet targets and align with community needs.
• Respond to contract training requests and negotiate with clients for appropriate programs.
• Liaise with Elder College committees, instructors and campus locations for operational support.
• Coordinate curriculum development, renewal processes and instructor orientations to ensure instructional quality.
• Monitor enrolments, report on activities, and address challenges to increase enrolments and revenues.
