Job summary

First Onsite Restoration is seeking a Contents Technician I to learn restoration techniques and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where every task matters.

You’ll be packing, sorting, cleaning, and protecting belongings after fire, water, or mold events, while keeping detailed records and following safety procedures. A valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in rotating on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in restoration, emergency services, or a related field.
• High attention to detail with strong organization and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of cleaning techniques for water, fire, and mold restoration.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE in varying environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using mobile devices and apps.
• Ability to obtain industry certifications such as Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT), or Odor Control Technician (OCT).

• Pack and protect belongings for transport and storage.
• Assist in cleaning and restoration of items damaged by fire, water, or mold.
• Sort, document, and organize contents with care.
