Job description
The Role

At Pine, we’re transforming the outdated and complicated home financing process into something simpler, faster, and better for Canadians. With innovative technology and a team of passionate people, we’re on a mission to make homeownership more accessible. Backed by some of North America’s most sought-after VCs, we’re one of Canada’s fastest-growing startups - and we recently ranked #5 on LinkedIn’s Top Startups in Canada.

The Role

Now we’re looking for a Content Marketer who can take our brand story and amplify it across blogs, videos, and digital campaigns that people want to engage with.

This isn’t a “write some posts and call it a day” gig. You’ll own the creation of content that educates, entertains, and inspires - content that builds trust with Canadians as they make one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan, write, and publish SEO-optimized blog content that ranks and resonates.
  • Develop engaging video content (concept, script, production coordination) for YouTube, social media, and our website.
  • Collaborate with designers and videographers to bring your ideas to life.
  • Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with product launches, campaigns, and seasonal trends.
  • Monitor performance and iterate to maximize engagement and conversions.
  • Stay ahead of content trends in FinTech, PropTech, and lifestyle marketing.
What We’re Looking For
  • A creative storyteller with 2 - 4 years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills - you know how to craft content that informs, inspires, and converts.
  • A solid understanding of SEO best practices and how to create content that ranks without sacrificing readability.
  • Experience producing video content - from scripting to collaborating with production teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams (design, product, growth) to bring ideas to life.
  • A curiosity for FinTech, PropTech, and the Canadian housing market - you’re eager to dive deep and translate complex topics into engaging stories.
  • A data-driven mindset: you track performance, learn from results, and continuously optimize.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for building brands in a fast-paced startup environment.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table.

If you need any accommodations, please inform your recruitment contact upon initial connection.
