Why We’re Hiring This Role
We’re launching more marketing content than ever—and each plays a crucial role in our clients’ success. We’re looking for a talented Content Manager who specializes in video editing, creative storytelling & social media marketing. This role will help organize raw content provided by vacation rental hosts, color grade footage to optimize it and provide creative direction for how to best leverage this video footage to create viral reels for vacation rental instagram pages.
Who You Are
- You are savvy with editing videos that can captivate audiences on social media
- You enjoy leading creative direction on how to best leverage raw video footage
- You’re skilled at enhancing footage through color grading to elevate visual quality and brand feel
- You enjoy editing photos to make them capture attention and inspire people
- You’re confident with editing tools like Adobe Suite, CapCut, After Effects, etc.
- You’re comfortable navigating content management systems like Drive, Dropbox, etc.
- You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines at once
- You thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment where priorities shift and collaboration is key
Key Responsibilities
Content Curation & Asset Management:
- Organize and structure incoming client video and photo content on Google Drive
- Maintain an efficient tagging and naming system to streamline asset access
- Identify and curate footage that aligns with brand tone and has viral potential
Content Strategy & Planning:
- Contribute to the development and execution of content strategies aligned with client goals and marketing objectives
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content marketing
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to support content creation
Brand Consistency & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure visual and narrative consistency across all deliverables
- Review and offer constructive feedback on team-produced or outsourced content
- Uphold brand standards and maintain quality across platforms
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work cross-functionally with creative and client teams to bring content to life
- Contribute to internal creative sessions and team planning meetings
- Ensure alignment and clarity from concept through to delivery
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement AI tools that elevate storytelling, optimize editing workflows, and scale content production.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Monitor analytics to measure content performance and impact
- Apply insights to optimize future content and refine creative strategies
Workflow & Project Management:
- Manage multiple content streams with attention to deadlines and detail
- Use project management tools to track workflows and ensure smooth execution
- Proactively identify process improvements and implement best practices
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in video editing, with a portfolio that showcases strong visual storytelling
- Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing tools
- Solid understanding of color grading and how to visually elevate raw footage for social media
- Experience working with social media content, especially Instagram Reels or short-form video
- Confident in scanning large volumes of footage to identify standout clips and organize content for editing workflows
- Strong organizational and communication skills—able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive mindset with the ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
- A keen eye for pacing, music, and visual hooks that drive engagement and brand impact
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience creating content for travel, weddings, nature or real estate
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels best practices and trends in social-first storytelling
- Skills in graphic design or experience using Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
- Understanding of marketing funnels, especially how content fits into lead nurturing and conversion

- Starting Salary: $50,000 - $60,000/year depending on experience
