Job summary

ATRIUM Digital in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking an Associate Content Department Lead. This full-time, in-office role combines hands-on writing for select Search Marketing clients with co-leading the Content department alongside ATRIUM leadership.

The position is a true 50/50 split: half as lead writer and half in department leadership, developing people, managing capacity and improving quality. Starting salary is CAD 75,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience in content writing, content strategy, editorial, SEO or digital marketing.
• Strong writing samples across narrative and technical subject matter with evidence of research and judgment.
• Leadership experience through management, mentoring or editorial direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead writing for select Search Marketing clients and mentor team members.
• Co-manage the Content department with leadership: capacity, quality and workflows.
• Develop standards, briefs, quality rubrics, SOPs and project workflows.
• Identify blockers and turn practices into repeatable team systems.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development as the team grows.
• Evolve ATRIUM's Search Marketing service across SEO, AEO and GEO.
• Collaborate across Search, Social, Advertising, CRO and Platforms to connect content in a marketing system.
