The University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a Content Coordinator in University Relations to advance the university's digital strategy and strengthen the brand across platforms.
You will update content, work with stakeholders to optimize user experiences, perform user research, and translate business objectives into accessible, navigable web experiences while tracking performance.
Primary Purpose: The UX Content Coordinator contributes to the implementation, measurement, and evolution of the digital strategy that engages stakeholders and builds the University of Saskatchewan brand in alignment with strategic priorities and the Mission, Vision and Values.
Nature of Work: Reporting to the Manager, Digital Strategy, the UX Content Coordinator will update and enhance the university website to support institutional goals. The Content Coordinator will work with stakeholders to optimize digital experiences with two key goals in mind: maximize user/customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives.
Work is done in the context of enterprise architecture principles, brand standards and data governance frameworks and requires a proactive and creative approach in a complex, academic environment. This position requires a high level of energy and competence, and acts as a change agent to influence and promote a user- and- digital-first approach in support of the university’s goals and strategic plans.
Typical Duties or Accountabilities:
Education: University degree in communications, marketing, interaction design or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. UX certification would be considered an asset. We appreciate that non-traditional career paths may have developed a candidate’s competency, and alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Experience: One year of website development/content creation experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed above.
Skills: Experience working within cross-functional teams that are strong advocates for user-centered design principles and methodologies; Experience in Content Management Systems; Flexible, open-minded, willing to adapt to changing/competing priorities, able to manage multiple demands, and skilled in time management; Someone who enjoys learning and continually seeking new ways to grow personally and professionally; Strong written communication and content creation skills; Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva; Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript.

Salary: The salary range, based on 1.0 FTE, is $53,091.00 - 82,954.00 per annum. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
