Consultant(s) in General Adult Psychiatry

Community (3) and Acute In-Patient (2) posts available

Full time (10 PA’s – 7.5DCC + 2.5SPA / week)

Together with our partners, and building on national and international best practice, we have co‑produced what aims to be a leading contemporary model of mental health care for Scotland. You will be fully supported to help shape and develop the local service to deliver the best quality mental health care available.

These posts represent excellent opportunities to strike the perfect work / home life balance for enthusiastic, forward‑thinking and committed consultant general adult psychiatrists.

The posts are fully flexible, and it is widely expected that these will be hugely attractive to a wide range of candidates, from those stepping into their first consultant post, to consultants wishing to expand their professional interests across a range of fields including quality improvement, leadership and medical education.

Posts are available across the three Health and Social Care Partnership areas: Perth and Kinross, City of Dundee and Angus, both in the community and within Acute Inpatient Services.
