Job summary

Infosys Consulting, the management and technology consulting unit of Infosys Ltd, is seeking motivated Insurance Consultants. The Consultant role focuses on partnering with business and technology stakeholders to help craft and execute strategy.

This position supports Principal Consultants and Infosys teams across Strategy, Business Case definition, Requirements, and Business Process Design to enable clients to meet evolving global needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with three years of comparable consulting services.
• Experience working in P&C Insurance with specialization in Commercial Lines and Specialty Lines.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or on large data transformation programs.
• Experience in process improvement in business operations - analysis, root cause, and future-state design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to lead projects and build strong business relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to client requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
• Proven ability to lead projects, build strong and effective business relationships
• Ability to facilitate discussions, analyze and de-construct problems, develop structured solutions and categorize challenges in the project environment
• Highly motivated with strong analytical acumen and problem-solving skills
• Must be willing and able to travel up depending on client requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree
• 2-3 years of experience working on change initiatives in Insurance firms working either directly or with a reputed professional services firm
• Industry-related certification (CPCU, ARM, etc.) is a plus
• Experience as a business analyst will be desirable
• Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints
• Experience in executing programs using Agile methodologies
• Lean / six sigma Certification
• Ability and willingness to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary
