What you’ll be doing

As a Consultant, Marketing Analytics within the Direct Marketing Campaigns team (DCM) you will be responsible for providing analytical support on targeted marketing campaign initiatives. Your role will include leveraging data to identify meaningful campaign opportunities while developing and creating client lead lists in support of relevant customer acquisition and retention strategies.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you’ll succeed

  • Campaign Design & Execution - We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Marketing Campaign Manager with hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in designing, executing, and optimizing data-driven marketing campaigns that engage customers and drive business results. You will also utilize campaign design methods and tools such as IBM’s Campaign Management application (previously UNICA). Knowledge and experience working with relational databases, Business Intelligence (BI) User Interfaces and programming languages (like SAS & SQL) is a significant asset.
  • Project Management & Relationship Building -Building strong relationships with internal and external partners is fundamental to your success. You must demonstrate effective project management skills and the ability to lead small scale direct marketing initiatives within a cross-functional team environment. Your ability to prioritize multiple deliverables, adapt to program changes as they arise and deliver within tight timelines will be critical to your success within this dynamic team.
  • Analysis & Problem Solving -You must have the ability to assimilate and analyze information from a variety of sources, make recommendations and present information in an easy and understandable manner. Experience in leveraging statistical and predictive models and other targeting & segmentation methodologies is also an asset. In addition, an eagerness to continually look for process improvement efficiencies and recommend potential solutions is a beneficial and complementary skill.
  • Design and execute cross-channel marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
  • Leverage customer data to personalize messaging and automate lifecycle journeys.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Product, Analytics, and IT) to align campaign strategies with business goals.
  • Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and customer data to generate insights and optimize future campaigns.
  • Identify and resolve issues or roadblocks in the campaign process proactively.
  • Document best practices and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate 3+ years of experience managing marketing campaigns with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, etc.). It’s an asset if you have prior experience leveraging a tool such as IBM Campaign Management (UNICA), or similar applications.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly CDP) to segment audiences.
