Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the Financial Crimes & Enterprise Risk Technology team. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale applications that enhance regulatory reporting and compliance.

You will lead technical design, plan roadmaps, and mentor developers while collaborating with multiple back-end systems. You will work on .NET Core/.NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, React, RESTful APIs, and Azure technologies.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on Azure services experience (Entra ID, App Service, Functions, Storage).
  • Experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise-scale apps.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be joining CIBC’s Financial Crimes & Enterprise Risk Technology. You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale applications involving multiple back-end systems. As a Consultant, Full Stack Developer, you’ll develop, implement, and maintain accurate and user-friendly solutions that enhance compliance and reporting efficiency for regulatory bodies and stakeholders. You’ll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. How you’ll succeed
  • Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.
  • Strategic planning - Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals. Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
  • Leadership skills - Act as the development team lead and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals. Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.
Who you are

You can demonstrate experience in:

  • At least 5 years of experience in design and developing .Net solutions, such as .NET, C#, ASP.NET, .Net Core, MS SQL Server, SQL Query, React, SSRS, SSIS, RESTful API.
  • Hands‑on experience in Azure Technologies and Development, such as: Entra ID, OAuth, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage account, SQL Managed Instance etc.

Nice to have: Power BI and Azure Data Factory.
