Responsibilities
- Provide and lead strategic IT consulting services to a wide range of MNP's clients in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, including IT Strategy and Planning, Business Alignment and Enablement, Process Redesign, Solution Design, System Selection, Project Management, and IT Systems Optimization.
- Work with third-party vendors to ensure compatibility with client-specific Sage Intacct configurations, ideally Sage Construction and Consolidations.
- Design & flowchart workflows of systems, including project/grant management, invoicing, revenue recognition, accounts payable/accounts receivable, and financial reports.
- Lead client data management initiatives to ensure continuity and validity during migration processes.
- Deliver consulting services such as strategic and operational planning, business and IT transformation, business process improvement, performance optimization, organization effectiveness, and risk assessment.
- Manage complex projects and lead teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets client specifications, ensuring project profitability and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients to identify business opportunities, define root causes of issues, and develop innovative solutions to achieve client outcomes.
- Identify ways to maximize client relationships and deliver added value.
- Manage project financials, including resource use, budgets, WIP, billing, collection, and variance recognition.
- Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries, and presentations outlining findings and project highlights.
- Understand client needs strategically by quickly grasping their business, organization, operating environment, and key risks.
- Facilitate collaboration with the engagement team before project commencement to discuss roles, responsibilities, risk areas, and metrics.
- Prepare training materials and lead client training sessions, including facilitating User Acceptance Tests.
- Coordinate team activities to align resources with project plans.
- Review work for accuracy and completeness, provide feedback, and ensure high-quality standards.
- Monitor project timelines, adjust as needed, and communicate status and discrepancies to clients.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to procedures.
- Promote MNP’s consulting services through presentations, articles, workshops, and community activities.
- Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, business, and industry.
- Engage actively in the business and IT community to build networks.
- Provide leadership and expertise in proposal development and solution design.
- Contribute to process improvements and new ideas.

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, technology, engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of IT experience in consulting preferred.
- Willingness to learn Sage Intacct; experience is a plus.
- Client accounting experience preferred.
- Skills in accounting, project management, and reporting.
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, CBAP, Agile, CISSP, TOGAF, ITIL) are assets.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Passion for innovation and applying technology to solve complex problems.
- Experience in solution development, client communication, decision-making, and team leadership.
- Experience in IT Strategy, Business Alignment, Transformation, and related areas.
- Proposal development experience.
- Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset.
- Established network within the business and IT community is an asset.
- Willing to travel.
