Consultant, Broking and Financial Management - Health Solutions Practice

Role Overview

As a Consultant supporting our Health Solutions business, you will assist client teams with financial management of benefit programs, including renewals, carrier marketings, experience reporting, budget review, and negotiations. You will collaborate with analysts, senior leaders, and external partners to deliver innovative solutions and improve client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review analysis and negotiate annual renewals.
  2. Conduct cost projections and market analysis.
  3. Monitor experience and analyze claim trends and metrics.
  4. Prepare and review client-ready materials and communications.
  5. Support financial requests, partner with carriers, and assist client teams.
  6. Provide technical expertise, insights, and recommendations.
  7. Attend client meetings and coordinate projects.
  8. Improve processes and contribute to deliverables.
  9. Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners.
  10. Adhere to standards and maintain industry knowledge.
  11. Participate in projects that drive innovation and value.
Qualifications for Success
  • 4+ years of group benefits experience in consulting or underwriting.
  • Valid group insurance license (multi-jurisdictional preferred).
  • Bilingual in French and English required.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and work independently or with teams.
  • Industry knowledge of trends, policies, and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Degree in Financial Services, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field; CEBS certification is an asset.
  • Commitment to professional growth.
